Chile has recently launched phase 5 polices for travel during COVID Policies is in with respect to the Step by Step Plan According to La Moneda, the plan consists of five stages for travel policies. It will progress or recede based on epidemiological criteria that each region must meet, in addition to its health network status, among other factors.
Quarantine (Phase 1)
It is restricted and exclusive permits are requested for essential activities; compliance with the curfew and physical distancing are required, in addition to the establishment of customs and sanitary cordons. People over 75 years of age are required to be in quaretena while recreational activities are prohibited.
Transition (Phase 2)
Quarantines are maintained on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays and the curfew must continue to be observed. Social activities with a maximum of 10 people are allowed from Monday to Friday in open places; and a maximum of 5 indoors. Restaurants, cinemas or theaters cannot function.
Preparation (Phase 3)
The quarantine is lifted for the general population with the exception of risk groups and social and recreational activities are allowed on any day of the week with a maximum of 50 people.
Initial Opening (Phase 4)
Activities with a lower risk of contagion can be resumed. You must comply with the curfew and physical distancing. Adults over 75 can go out once a day for 60 minutes and social activities with a maximum of 50 people are allowed on any day of the week. Places such as restaurants, cinemas or theaters will be able to operate with 25% of their capacity.
Advanced Opening (Phase 5)
It is allowed to increase the number of people in activities. You must also comply with the curfew. In this phase of the deconfinement plan, the transfer to the second home is allowed and those over 75 years of age will not have mobility restrictions.
Social activities with a maximum of 150 people are allowed on any day of the week. Places such as restaurants, cinemas or theaters will be able to operate with 75% of their capacity.
